All about your role

We are looking for a commercially savvy finance professional to join our team as FP&A Manager. This role will be our first FP&A hire and so this is a really exciting opportunity for the right person to come in and set the foundations for FP&A as a function within Finance at KatKin. You will lead on all things forward looking, being the driving force behind our short and long term planning, as well as supporting stakeholders across the business to make the right strategic choices through insightful analysis. It will be a challenging role, but with that comes huge growth opportunities and real influence over shaping your role in the company.  

This Hands-On Role Includes Ownership Of
  • You will own our financial models, maintaining and improving these to ensure they accurately reflect the realities of the business as it continues to develop. 

  • You will play a key part in our annual budgeting process, as well as owning our rolling forecasts. You will be integrated with the rest of the business, making sure that we always have the latest inputs to deliver accurate forecasting. 

  • You will act as a true partner to all areas of the business, supporting stakeholders to understand and own the financial performance of their respective areas. You will help them to solve key business problems and make the right strategic decisions through insightful ad-hoc analysis, ensuring that the financial and broader business implications of their decisions are front of mind. 

  • Work closely with our accounting team to assess actual business performance, analysing variances to budgets and identifying risks and opportunities. You may also need to support on some month end activities.

  • You will be laser focused in monitoring our KPIs, spotting key trends and developing new metrics to ensure that we have the right level of insight across the business. 

  • You will support in the preparation of investor reporting and Board materials. 

  • You will own our FP&A processes, future proofing these and looking to automate where possible. 

  • Supporting the Head of Finance with fundraising activities and due diligence requests. 


Who we’re looking for:
  • Qualified accountant with at least 2 years PQE, some of which must be FP&A experience. If you have experience working in a subscription business that would be a plus. 

  • Adept at financial modelling.

  • Ability to get to grips with and report on complex data. You will have excellent financial communication skills, with the ability to tell the story with data and influence across all levels of the business. 

  • Be comfortable working in a dynamic, and fast-paced environment.

  • Be a self-starter with an ability to work alone, taking ownership and responsibility.

  • Proficient using Google Sheets and/or Excel. Experience with data visualisation tools such as Looker would be a plus.

  • Hunger to learn cross-functionally in DTC and FMCG, spanning manufacturing, e-commerce, data, marketing. 

  • You want to get in on something from day one - to change, create and build something.
