The Role

As a Creative Strategist at KatKin, you will be responsible for driving acquisition-oriented creative strategies that drive the effectiveness of our Meta and TikTok performance. 

You will develop innovative creative concepts, optimise ad performance through data-driven insights, and ensure our creative outputs are aligned with business objectives, overall relevant brand and creative strategies, and resonate with our target audience.

You will start with insight, both qualitative customer and performance metrics to define your strategy. You can put your hand to UGC, high production or VSLs, writing conversion focussed scripts & creating comprehensive briefs for our editors and creators.

You are comfortable operating in a fast-moving and data driven environment, you'll be a key player contributing to the growth of the company. Our Growth team is a small team with a big impact and motivation, so a proactive attitude is a must.

Key ownership areas
  • Deep dive into campaign data across all acquisition channels to spot patterns, uncover top-performing assets, and highlight opportunities for improvement.

  • Write compelling, conversion focussed scripts that entertain, educate and convert cat owners to trusting customers

  • Build clear, testable creative hypotheses rooted in your analysis, ensuring every new asset has a strong strategic backbone.

  • Craft concise, inspiring, and data-rich creative briefs that give internal teams and external partners the clarity they need to deliver breakthrough work.

  • Own the feedback cycle by analysing test results, extracting learnings, and sharing actionable insights to fuel smarter, faster creative iteration.

  • Track competitor activity and market trends to surface fresh formats, angles, and storytelling techniques we can adapt and test.

  • Partner closely with Growth Lead and Creative Strategist, supplying a steady flow of creative insights to boost channel efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Ensure transparent communication and efficient stakeholder management

Who we are looking for:
  • 2+ years of experience in creative strategy, media buying, or performance marketing role where you were responsible for ad creative performance.

  • High level of numeracy and the ability to dig into data and inform decision-making

  • Creative thinking - the ability to translate data and customer insights into a creative lever

  • Extremely organised and able to manage, prioritise and execute multiple creative projects at once

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proactive approach to decision-making and problem-solving. You want to know the ‘why’ behind everything.

  • You love to collaborate, and set the standard for quality of work
