Based in Haverhill, the KatKin Kitchen is where our fresh, 100% human-quality meat meals are gently cooked and frozen with care. We’re looking for an exceptional Supervisor to lead, inspire, and support our team while ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational excellence across the site.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real impact. You’ll play a key part in driving performance, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace, and supporting continuous improvement across our kitchen operations.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing team, setting clear expectations and creating a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  
  

• Carry out performance reviews, regular feedback, and coaching to support development and identify future talent.
  
  

• Manage staffing levels to ensure effective coverage, productivity, and team wellbeing.
  
  

• Track performance against KPIs, ensuring work is completed on time and to KatKin’s quality standards.
  
  

Operational Oversight & Compliance

• Champion Health & Safety and food safety standards, acting quickly on any non-compliance.
  
  

• Take ownership of your areas, identifying risks and implementing effective corrective actions.
  
  

• Oversee production schedules to meet operational targets and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Continuous Improvement

• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality.
  
  

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes and support operational projects.
  
  

• Help develop and embed new hygiene and safety procedures in line with best practice and business growth.
  
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  
  

• Share performance updates with senior stakeholders, highlighting successes and opportunities for improvement.
  
  

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG.
  
  

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence people at all levels.
  
  

• A calm, emotionally intelligent approach to managing people and resolving challenges.
  
  

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  
  

• Good understanding of Health & Safety, food safety, and HACCP principles (desirable).
  
  

• Confident using data and KPIs to monitor performance and drive decisions.
  
  

• Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
